This machine has earned me so much money! How to turn a CNC machine into a business. I got a massive, huge CNC machine upgrade; a 5′ x 10′ Avid Pro CNC and I’m wondering if this is the future of woodworking, manufacturing, small business, and DIY. I’ll explain my thoughts on that, and why CNC machines are here to stay.

  1. So glad I found you! You make great suggestions and explain things very well. Going through a midlife crisis and completely changing careers. I’m looking into different business opportunities that mix creativity with building. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I think its a great tool to open up all kinds of opportunities. It's just the capital to buy such a tool but I guess there's always places out there with a CNC you can use until you meet the demand or orders where you can afford or persuade a bank to see your purchase orders to allow you to buy one it's definitely making me consider the opportunity as I already have design and cad skills. The growth in online retail is another plus.

  3. I'm new at this and liked the video…I have bn making a wood wind instrument as a hobby.and have decided to get out of wood floors(since 1987).and get a shop on my house and be able to CNC the parts out..your video is a good starting point to see what can happen if one stays at it….I am after a specific shape…I will watch more.

  4. You talked about iPhone production as an analogy… I will say that I'm always shocked at how much human work goes into assembling an iPhone. We like to imagine that everything is automated, but there are literally hundreds of thousands of workers whose job it is to put those things together.

  5. This video could be greatly improved by taking out all the unnecessary bits, like the Waynes World gimmick ( Come on man where not all 16yrs old and enjoy such trivial and pointless interruptions ) and cutting out all the other unnecesary bits that make this video boring by dragging everything out 10 mins longer than it needed to be! Just get into the content and skip all the fluff would be my advice.

  6. I think it’s a fantastic machine but I like the process of using the jointer, planer, and table saw with lumber. I’m going to keep CNC in mind though because learning something new is always good for me.

Maybe call it Snuffleupagus? Those dust bristles around the cutter just remind me of him.

  7. this video is BS. he is selling a new tech based woodworking tool. no gradient info, no information what level of woodworking you shuld be at, what levels of investment is needed, how you can recover roi. you should have customers & people liking it as well. sell-out video, sorry to be blunt
