In this video I will be having a look at the Snapmaker 2.0, a 3-in-1 machine that can do laser engraving, 3D printing and CNC cutting. I will show you how easy it is to assemble, I will try out all of its functions and tell you how well they work and in the end I will tell you my opinion whether I think it is worth its price tag. Let’s get started!

great review my friend!
Should've used the same filament for all 3
Do you think this can cut through 3mil copper tape? Im thinking of using a laser engraver to make custom circuits.
Amigo dime q programas usas para la cnc
This machine is awesome ??
Der einzige Geek, den man erst am T-Shirt erkennt.
I feel they could have made a magnetic bases instead, fairly strong magnets along each side or maybe but still great
Seems like a really great machine with some very puzzling irritating problems…
Seven words: Class 4 laser out in the open.
Where are you from buddy?
Finally I See you.
Great video, best review I’ve seen of this machine.
Great video. What kind of service support does Snapmaker offer if anything needs to be repaired?
This is why I like this channel, no easy way out. Lol
can I use other software on this 3D printer besides Snapmaker?
Laser cutting needs air. Without it you'll get uneffective cutting, burned edges and smoked laser leens.
THIS is why I’m broke
jeez my custom hot swap build beats that in 3d printing, plotting, and cnc… and i only spent 500 dollars
I want this ?
I like that a lot of these comments are about how "for that price I can buy three ali express machines that will do a better job than this will" Sure. Maybe you can get machines that will do a better job than this. But that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? The whole idea of this machine is to turn your desktop into a workshop. I don't know about you, but I definitely don't have the space to have three machines set up. And the ease of switching from one mode to the next, in my opinion, is totally worth it. Not to mention, you can buy a 200 dollar 3d printer off ali express. But you can be darn sure that it won't last more than a month if you use it frequently. When you spend the extra money to buy a higher quality machine, it lasts a lot longer. Not to mention these machines are completely modular, if a part wears out you can just replace it. And in my experience, when I had a problem with the fan on the power supply failing (due to my own negligence mind you. I got sawdust in it and it gummed up) I was able to send it in and they fixed it for *free*. When you buy the better product. You get a better product.
Amazing?
Homer/Tevo is coming out with the Hydra which does all three. Personally I'd rather see CNC as a separate machine.
Linux support!???
1800€ doesn't sound that bad when certain 3D printers are already half or more of that. Not sure about the CNC and Laser tho.
It isn't the best at everything but the idea is great.
I ordered the snapmaker and just got mine in the mail yesterday. I can see the things you pointed out being issues, like the noise etc, but I really needed a printer that could print large things for my business. The laser and cnc functions just opens up more options for things to sell! I plan on keeping mine in my garage to keep the sound and venting the fumes easier.
high quality product/materials with unrefined software/usability and quality output. Imagine if prusa made this product, it would be the opposite.
for me its a tinker device, not for most people. I get surprised when its so highly recommended. Without good software, its kinda a dealbreaker.
if you are going to wear a shirt with a circuit atlest show it all
DUDE MAKE A PLATE OF GEARS AND 22 MAGNETIC BITS THAT UNSCREW THEM ALL AT ONCE FROM A CENTRAL DRILL
Print urself a jig to take out all the screws at once or a row at a time
FYI, Snapmaker is having trouble fulfilling orders. Over waited 10 months for a non-working unit and ineffective support. They told me "it should work."
I have a question new to 3d printi g, but I do when I use some stl files from say thing verse, will my printer automatically take the settings from stl file or I have to manually set them in my printer?
Very thorough walk through well done sir
For Laser work you can also use Lightburn which is a LOT better than Lupan…
Most of us change the fan to a 24V fan with hydraulic bearings. You only need to change the pin out of the fan to match the Snapmaker 2.0 pin out. You will love the machine after that…

Trash machine.
Now make a video on buying one with your own money and see how long it takes to get. Also, see if they ever respond to customer service calls or emails. That's the reason I cancelled my order. Got tired of waiting after 5 months, only time I got a response is when they put me back on their email spam list after I had to call my credit card company to get rid of the charge. Looks like an amazing unit…. If you ever get it and clearly, if you need any support you are on your own.
Fuck the Price i nede this!
It can do 3 things fine, but not well.
Your voice doesn't suit for ur face……. Its like someone is giving a voice over??
DUUUUUUDE THE QUALITY IN INSANE damn i love it i want to touch those metal parts so bad lmao
I like the machine but not sure what I think about the 20 screws you have to swap every time
I think you need a new intro
nice vid
Is it possible to use a normal slicer like Cura, and manually send the file to the printer?
Pretty good idea this Maschine is.
Thanks for this review, I like the fact that this machine can do 3 different kinds of jobs, so you don't have to buy separate machines for all of them. I am someone who doesn't use such a machine that much but this is a nice solution then.
Do you test for chlorine before using laser engraver? You can use a copper wire to do it.
