  1. Being a toolmaker as well as an avid woodworker. I owned and operated a cabinet shop for several years while also having a machine shop. I’d often machine wood in a Bridgeport . People would laugh but let’s face it a mill can cut anything with the proper tools, speeds and feeds. Nicely done fly fishing board.

  2. I built my first machine a few years back and learned everything I know from machining wood as its so forgiving! Downcut compression bits are incredibly good for such material! Glad to see such from the opposite scale of material.

  3. The Doosan CNC machine can also make an EXCELLENT CNC wood router!!!!No need to buy a separate CNC wood router!Woodworking shops would have interest in this!!

  4. Am I the only one who grits their teeth a little when I watch tool assembly with no rag? Lol I'm sure you guys wipe all that stuff and we just don't see it but it drives me nuts!

  5. Next stop is making complex shapes for aerospace use out of mahogany ? and who needs inconel and titanium anyways…….. These "shorts" make a welcome coffee break during the day. thank you.

  6. Carefully sets up and cuts to .00001” accuracy. He walks outdoors into Texas summer humidity and the wood swells by .1”. ;-). That is a nice project, a radius on the edges and a coat of Osmo, done. Most of the newer vids are not in our bailiwick so haven’t watched any in a long time, till this one. Didn’t know ya’ll were making your own mills. At least your fly supplies are just down the road at Bass Pro, Orvis ain’t too far away either. Great for pointing out fly fishing ain’t just for trout. Flyfishing for bass is great fun, just need a bit heavier rig than trout. That little lake out front is pretty new, I’ll keep a few flies in the truck and drop you a couple if I happen to see you out there. Lake Lavon and Lake Palestine have some great bass fishing. Great vid.

  7. Awesome video, I can definitely relate to the hobby side since model aviation club is what introduced me to a metalworking manual lathe and mill and how I became interested in CNC. Making parts for flying models, flying them, putting together a desktop CNC, making first parts – it was an epic journey to industrial CNC. Great looking RC boat to the smallest detail, even stickers and their placement fit perfectly.
