The computer that controls my CNC router is too far away from the router itself. I could have just moved a table and a computer closer to the machine, but that’s no fun! But you know what is? Overbuilding a custom solution! Join me as I design, pivot, weld, route, 3d print, and solder my way to a new solution to this problem! https://bit.ly/32mswpm

Very cool project! Doubly cool to see someone whip out a welder for an element14 video, big thumbs up
Where the HDMI input come from?
Might there be a wiring diagram for this project?
I have the same problem with my CNC, I will try to solve it like you did.
Thanks for the idea!
Damn nice.
That was really cool! Enjoyed watching it.
Are you left-handed?
Did you see my 1500cm x1250 cnc I made for £600
A good approach and excellent results. There are KVM extenders if you needed to do this with longer cables
Why not g28. You have a perfect index.
Man that came out great. Nice work!
That looks pretty awesome and a great idea! How does the Arduino talk to the computer running Mach4? Will this work with Mach3? Wouldn’t the laser etch some some labels into the acrylic?
Wow, this is so nice. Thank you for the Video.
Great video, really enjoyed it. It's definitely given me some inspiration, thank you
How did you end up routing the HDMI all the way to the computer without it getting to be a mess? Also, technically, the HDMI on the touchscreen is an input 🙂
Meanwhile, I'm using a 20 year old Dell laptop because I'm still using Mach3 with a parallel port.
Oh yeah that waht I need to build as well, now there is a great starting point!
I always wanted to do this for our makerspace
